The Korean Manufacturer Samsung has slashed the prices of
its flagship models Samsung SIII and Samsung Note II. The price cuts come apparently
due to the competition faced by Samsung due to brands like Apple. Reports tell
that due to aggressive techniques of Apple in India in the recent times, the
company has reported a 400% increase in sales in the last three months.
The Samsung SIII was launched at a price of Rs. 43,180, but
now has been officially priced at Rs. 29,480. The price of the Samsung Galaxy
Note II has also been slashed from a launch price of Rs. 39,999 to a price of
Rs. 35,600. However, online stores have already been selling these phones t
even lower prices. The price of Samsung SIII on Tradus is Rs. 28,790. The
Samsung Galaxy Note II is being sold on Snapdeal at a price of Rs. 33,900 (after
applying a coupon ‘mob1000’).
Even though Samsung has reduced the prices on these two flagship
models, the enthusiasts will be waiting for its latest release Samsung Galaxy
SIV which houses some great features like wireless charging.
